Brighton and Crystal Palace play out a 1-1 draw in the Premier League
Jordan Ayew put his side ahead when Crystal palace capitalised on a mistake by Bart Verbruggen.
Roberto De Zerbi opted to bring on Danny Welbeck at half time in order to get something from the game and it paid off as he scored to get a point for Brighton.
Brighton attempted to play out from the back but the Dutch goalkeeper took too long on the ball causing him to attempt a poor pass, which was intercepted by Michael Olise. Olise played a good cross into Ayew at the far post who headed it into the back of the net from close range to put the Eagles ahead.
Billy Gilmour had his powerful strike saved by Dean Henderson to deny the Scottish midfielder from equalising but it was only a matter of time until the Seagulls scored.
Pascal Groß played in an inviting cross from the right hand side which was met by the head of Welbeck. The header looped over Henderson and into the back of the net
Olise showcased his talent for Crystal Palace once again as he was a problem for Igor on the right hand side and got an assist.
Eberechi Eze caused even more problems for the Brighton defence in the second half when he replaced Ayew but Crystal Palace were unable to find a second goal to put the game to bed which resulted in them dropping two points.
