Crawley Town sign Antony Papadopoulos on a two year deal
Crawley Town have made Antony Papadopoulos their first signing of the summer so far. The midfielder has joined on a two year deal following the conclusion of his deal at Welling United.
This is not the first time Reds have peered into the National League with almost half of their squad last summer coming in from this division.

Papadopoulos began his career at Leyton Orient in their academy setup and then signed his first professional contract in 2021. His senior debut came in the EFL Trophy at home to Southampton U21 on the 14th of September in 2021 which he scored the only goal of the game in.
After his release from the O's, he signed for National League side Welling United. Papadopoulos made 41 appearances for the Wings during the 2023/24 season, only missing five matches across the entire season, scoring three goals in the process.
Speaking to the Crawley Town website he said: "I am delighted to get this deal over the line. It has been in the works for a while, so to finally get the deal done is a great feeling and I can't wait to get started.
"I feel like I really came into my own last season, and I had a lot of appearances, and it has always been my ambition to get back into the EFL, so I am really happy to be here as it is an exciting time for the club, and I can't wait for the season to start."
Crawley kick off their pre-season on the 16th July when they visit the Dripping Pan for an evening friendly which could be Papadopoulos first game in a Reds shirt.
