Crawley Town get their second clean sheet of the season with a 2-0 win Vs Gillingham
Crawley Town overcame Gillingham at the Priestfield Stadium with a 2-0 win which has pushed the Reds up to 10th place in the table.
Substitute Jack Roles secured all three points for the Reds as he blasted a shot at goal. It took a deflection on its way towards goal and ended up in the roof of the Gillingham net to give Crawley a 2-0 win.
Scott Lindsey who was heavily linked with the Gillingham job earlier this season saw his side score first as Will Wright once again wonderfully hit a free kick into the far top right corner. After Original complaints from Crawley players that they should have had a penalty, the referee awarded a free kick which was a blessing in disguise as the former Gills man found the back of the net to put the Reds ahead.

Crawley Town made three changes from their defeat against AFC Wimbledon just before Christmas, with Corey Addai, Ronan Darcy and Klaidi Lolos returning to the starting lineup in place of Luca Ashby-Hammond, Liam Kelly & Ben Gladwin.
The Reds Started brightly but it was the Gills who got the first dangerous chance of the game. They intercepted a loose pass from Crawley which allowed Ashley Nadesan to find Timothee Dieng who shot wide from the right side of the box.

Gillingham started poorly which lasted until they conceded which is when they began getting more chances in behind the Crawley defence. Former Reds players Nadesan and Tom Nichols looked most likely to score for the Gills in the first half but were unable to find the back of the net.
However Gillingham defender, Conor Masterson found the back of the net at the end of the first half but was in an offside position meaning the goal was disallowed and Crawley went into the break 1-0 up.
Danilo Orsi almost made it two for the visitors early in the second half when his curled shot from the right side went wide of the far post. Klaidi Lolos danced his way into a dangerous defender before being dispossessed and losing the ball, leaving Orsi to take his first time shot from outside the box.
Corey Addai who returned to the lineup for this game was forced to make two saves in quick succession. He made a fine save down low on the first occasion and then pulled off a brilliant block to deny Jonny Williams an almost certain goal. Overall he made crucial saves to help his side keep a clean sheet which is only the Reds second of the season.
