Crystal Palace ended their pre-season campaign with a against Nantes. Dean Henderson, Marc Guehi, Eberechi Eze and Adam Wharton all returned to the eleven for their first and Palace's final pre-season fixture before their season begins against Brentford in one weeks time.
Jean-Charles Castelletto opened the scoring for the visitors when he leapt highest to meet the cross put into the box by Sorba Thomas.
Palace were put on the back foot from the go but soon grew into the game and managed to make some chances but could not find their finishing touch until the hour mark.

The main threats that Palace possessed was their high pressure which caused problems for Nantes as well as their use of their wingbacks.
Munoz was a real threat down the right hand side as he constantly pumped dangerous balls into the box. Similarly on the opposite side, Mitchell did the same with one of his crosses resulting in a goal.
