The Three Lions will now face either France or Germany in Saturday's final in Bratislava, aiming to defend the crown they won in 2023.

Elliott opened the scoring in the 62nd minute with a stunning strike from a tight angle on the right, firing in at the near post to give England the lead.

The Dutch responded ten minutes later through Noah Ohio, who punished a mistake from Charlie Cresswell and beat goalkeeper James Beadle with a superb low curling effort from 30 yards.

But Elliott had the final word. With just five minutes remaining, the Liverpool midfielder weaved through the Dutch defence before unleashing a powerful drive into the bottom corner from outside the area.

Despite their strong performance, England will face a tough test in the final. Lee Carsley's side were beaten by Germany in their final group game and also suffered a 5-3 defeat to France in a March friendly.
