Man city take on Tottenham

Manchester City and Tottenham will be looking to return to winning ways when they play each other in an exciting contest on Sunday afternoon.

Tottenham started the season well but have lost three consecutive games since their increase of injuries meaning they have dropped to fifth position in the premier league table while Man city drew to Liverpool 1-1 last weekend allowing Arsenal to leapfrog the Citizens into first place.

Man city will be without their playmaker Kevin De Bruyne as well as Matheus Nunes but Mateo Kovacic could return to action after he was seen training in the week.spurs will be without James Maddison,Ivan Perisic,Rodrigo Bentancur and Micky van de Ven.

Pep Guardiola spoke highly of Ange Postecoglu who has impressed since his arrival at Tottenham in the summer. "

"He makes football a better place, people like Ange. I enjoy their approach a lot, all the Spurs fans can admit the impact has been quick," said the Spaniard.

Since the arrival of Guardiola, Man city have lost more games to Tottenham (six) than they have against any other opponents with Spur's most recent win against the blues occurring back in February when they won 1-0.
